You are looking at a fantastic addition to your American Flyer collection.
Here is a Gilbert American Flyer 'Old-Timer Frontiersman' S-Gauge Train Set from 1959-60! Sets like this are SCARCE and hard to find in such good condition! These Frontiersman sets are definitely available, BUT ARE THE OFTEN FOUND THIS CLEAN??? Definitely an upgrade.
This set comes with:
Franklin FY&P 88 Steam Loco + Tender
in C7+/C8-Condition. To be exceoptionally picky, some red paint may be lightly faded on the body, and of course, there is evidence on the wheels of run time. The decals are really nice with only one flaw I can see: decal under cab window on one side has a bottom corner tear. And it runs and smokes, though the choo choo sound is not very loud.

Overall C-8 Condition, LIKE NEW! Really clean. Locomotive is as clean as you will find. Fantastic paper. Engine smokes runs, reverses well. The choo choo sound is not real loud--hard to hear. The cars are all in fantastic condition.
